Have a heart for Valentine's Day! I meant to put this up before Valentine's day, but I've been a little busy and haven't gotten around to it.... Sorry about the quality of the pic. I had to use my phone.

Materials:

Worsted Weight yarn (I used red, of course.)

H/8 hook (5mm)

Yarn needle

Small amount of fiberfill

Abbreviations:

sc=single crochet

sl st=slip stitch

st/s=stitch/es

Heart:

6 sc using magic ring technique

2 sc in each sc (12)

*1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc* 6 times (18)

sc around 3 rows

F/O

6 sc using magic ring technique

2 sc in each sc (12)

*1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc* 6 times (18)

sc around 3 rows

holding both "bumps" together, 1 sc in next three sc

This part's a little tricky. You have to sc around until you get back to the other bump. Then what I do is make a sl st so there won't be a big gap between them, then sc around the other bump. You should have around 32 sts.

sc until you get to about halfway around one bump, then do a decrease. make another decrease when you get to about halfway around the second bump, and then sc in the remaining sts.

Repeat this until you have about 12 sts, stuffing as you go. Then just decrease around and fasten off, using the tail to close up the hole. Then what I did was take the starting tails from the two bumps and tied them together with an overhand knot to hang it up with.

I hope this pattern makes sense. It was hard writing it out.

And happy belated Valentine's Day. ^^
